About Paul

I’m 31 years old, born and raised in Arizona, and I’ve been a personal trainer in NYC for over 10 years. I also have an athletic background as a competitive pole vaulter and I have been playing the drums for almost 20 years. When I’m not working, I enjoy grabbing a bite or drink in the neighborhood, reading, hiking, and petting strange dogs.

After dealing with my own chronic achilles issues in my 20s, I am now extremely passionate about the kind of training involved in bridging the gap between rehab and performance. I appreciate that whether you are an athlete, a busy professional, or a new mom, everybody has their own representation of what day-to-day peak performance looks like and I love being able to help others overcome setbacks and maximize their sense of wellbeing with better strategies around movement, nutrition, and recovery. Whether your goal is to strength train, run, or simply walk and move pain-free, I am your guy.

Since 2015, I have also done extensive continuing education specifically related to postpartum exercise and rehabilitation. I have received certifications through 4 separate pregnancy and postpartum exercise education organizations in both the US and UK and have accumulated over 600 hours of mentorship directly under a world-renowned physical therapist based in Indianapolis who specializes in sports performance rehabilitation. This unique blend of education and hands-on experience has allowed me to consistently help various moms of all different ages and backgrounds safely return to higher intensity activities like weight lifting, running, and jumping without complication.
